Architecture and spaces as storytellers

I have always believed that spaces shape us as much as we shape them. When we restore or breathe new life into a heritage building, we are not only designing for utility. We are curating memory.

Architecture, when approached consciously, is an act of storytelling. A stone wall whispers of hands that built it. A cellar teaches patience. A modern intervention can bridge tradition and innovation.

For me, conscious hospitality starts with respecting the story a place wants to tell. At Brugarol and The Home of the Pioneers, our task is not to overwrite, but to listen — to allow architecture to guide us into more meaningful ways of gathering, eating, resting, and connecting.
