The TXA TXA 2025 wine from Celler Brugarol has been awarded the Gold Medal at the prestigious Grenaches du Monde 2026 international competition, one of the world’s leading contests dedicated exclusively to Grenache varieties. This recognition highlights a winemaking approach based on minimal intervention, respect for the land, and sustainable organic viticulture, reaffirming the winery’s commitment to the most authentic expression of Mediterranean Grenache from the Empordà region.
TXA TXA 2025 is a blend of:

The wine is crafted through spontaneous fermentations and gentle, respectful practices in both the vineyard and the winery, with the aim of preserving the estate’s identity and the natural expression of the variety. The result is a fresh, delicate, and vibrant wine, featuring aromas of grape blossom and fresh red fruit, with a light, elegant, and well-balanced palate.
The name TXA TXA is inspired by the combination of the three main Grenache color expressions present in the blend and by the concept of a “fun Grenache”—a playful and lively interpretation of this deeply rooted Mediterranean variety. The project is led by winemaker Marta Arenas, who has extensive experience in low-intervention winemaking and in expressing the Empordà landscape through wine. Her work focuses on allowing the vineyard to speak for itself with minimal intervention, seeking authenticity, balance, and a strong sense of place.
With a limited production of only 1,050 bottles, TXA TXA represents a contemporary and sensitive interpretation of Empordà Grenache. The Grenaches du Monde 2026 competition brings together international experts and tasters each year to recognize the best wines made from Grenache varieties around the world, serving as an important international showcase for Mediterranean wine regions.
Located on the historic Finca Bell-lloc estate in Palamós, Celler Brugarol develops a wine project that combines viticulture, landscape, and architecture, with a strong commitment to estate wines, limited production, and respect for the environment.
