Wine, Sea & Territory

A Journey Through Empordà

Empordà is not simply a destination. It is a way of living shaped by landscape, light, and time. Here, vineyards descend toward the Mediterranean. Architecture emerges naturally from stone and earth. Meals extend slowly beneath olive trees, and wine becomes part of the rhythm of everyday life. Everything exists in quiet dialogue with the territory itself. This season, Brugarol joins together with Mas Geli and Clos d’Agon to create a shared experience of the region, an invitation to discover Empordà through its vineyards, landscapes, and people.

The “Wine, Sea & Territory” experience is a curated 48-hour journey across three wineries, designed for those who wish to experience the Mediterranean more slowly, more deeply, and more authentically. Guests are invited to move through the territory at their own pace, discovering the distinct character of each estate while remaining connected by the same philosophy: respect for the land, contemporary craftsmanship, and the culture of hospitality.

Empordà: Wine, Sea & Territory

Three days discovering the essence of the Costa Brava from Palamós, among wineries, gastronomy, and Mediterranean landscapes A getaway designed to experience the Empordà at a relaxed pace, combining vineyards, the sea, and local produce in a balanced and unhurried experience. With a two-night stay at Finca Bell-Lloc, in Palamós and surrounded by nature, this proposal allows you to discover the region from within, connecting with wine, gastronomy, and landscape in an authentic and carefully curated setting.

Itinerary

The experience begins upon arrival in the Empordà with a sunset visit to Mas Geli, where you will enjoy a guided walk through the vineyards and a tasting of artisan cold cuts and cheeses, locally sourced products, dessert, and a pairing of four wines. Afterwards, you will travel to Finca Bell-Lloc, where you will stay for two nights surrounded by vineyards and olive trees.

The second day begins with breakfast at the estate, where all products are homemade: olive oils, bread, eggs, cheeses and yogurts from the sheep, as well as jams. At 11:30 a.m., enjoy a visit and tasting of three wines at Bodega Brugarol, located underground within the Bell-Lloc estate and designed by RCR Arquitectes, winners of the Pritzker Prize.

In the afternoon, you will have free time, and we recommend walking the coastal path along the sea from Hostal La Fosca to Castell Beach, passing through S’Alguer, one of the most emblematic corners of the Costa Brava with its traditional colorful fishermen’s houses. In the evening, return to Finca Bell-Lloc for your second night.

On the third day, after breakfast at the estate, we await you at 10:00 a.m. for the Main Wines experience at Clos d’Agon. This includes a walk through the vineyards, a guided winery tour, a tasting of five representative wines (two Valmaña, one Amic, and two Clos d’Agon wines), and an aperitif with a selection of Catalan cheeses and breadsticks.
